Episode 77: We win, but we still stink - a podcast by Jeff Ellis and Steven Mianda

Needed 10 innings to beat a terrible team. Not the way you would script it, but it worked. Two more unearned runs and two more errors have us playing very un-Mike Scioscia like baseball. We lead all baseball in two dubious categories. John Lackey pitched very well and did not get a decision for his efforts. It is only the grace that comes from being in the worst division in baseball that has us still in this race at five games back. Now the much improved Padres come to town for the weekend. Better get this ship patched up.
