What an announcement we have on this episode of the podcast! Now, in Tuscarawas and Carroll counties, we have a dedicated substance use Hope Line that can be called or texted 24/7 to provide assistance to anyone struggling with addiction: 330-663-6812
Meet Rachel Wentworth, the Hope Line Access Navigator, who is the dedicated person for the Hope Line. Yes, a person - not a recording or a machine. Rachel will be operating the Hope Line during normal business hours, but the Line can be accessed 24/7 via call or text. If Rachel is unable to answer when you call, she will contact you within 24 hours. What Rachel does is connect you with the best path of treatment for your specific situation. And she doesn't simply hand you off to another agency; Rachel will remain in contact and continue to walk alongside and guide you in the treatment process.
So whether you or a loved one is struggling with addiction, call Rachel at the substance use Hope Line at 330-663-6812.Visit https://my.captivate.fm/www.adctusc.org (www.adctusc.org) for all your information about the Coalition and different types of drug use and prevention.
