On today's show Tom was joined by Hannah and Eunice from Food Sharing to discuss the work that they do to combat food wastage in Luxembourg.

In Luxembourg alone, 118 kilos per person end up in the bin each year. These foods, however, contain valuable resources, working hours as well as often long transport routes and money.

Food Sharing is a volunteer-powered organisation that organises regular pick ups and distribution of food from shops, supermarkets and other businesses that would otherwise be thrown in the bin. Volunteers can get involved by becoming a food saver, participating in and organising events and by attending their regular information meetings.
