EP 43: Fire and ICE! - a podcast by AWAY Podcast

Welcome back AWAY family! Your two favorite girls are back at it again with another episode that leaves us all asking the same question. Are we Adulting yet? As always, we start off with our episode right with some grown folk business. We catch the fam up on all of the adult things they’ve been up to. Then they get right to business. This week they dive into a very serious issue America is facing at the moment and not just for adults. Kids are being affected by this as well. Dali and JQ want to understand the choices adults make and especially the choices the adults in charge make, simply because these choices can really determine the outcome of our lives. As you all may already know, one of the biggest choices we are dealing with right now is immigration and the ICE detention centers immigrants are being held in. This episode allowed us to really dig deep into the problem and try to understand and we still don’t fully understand. But trust us, we definitely still have our opinions on the issue.

Adulting tip of the day: Try to put yourself in somebody else’s shoes. Perspective is a powerful and beautiful skill to be able to achieve as we get older.
