Phillip Juarez was a normal person just like you and me until a terrible accident left him in the hospital. Phillip then turned to drugs and alcohol to try and fill up the empty spaces inside of him. After being arrested, and hurting many people, he began writing and rapping music, making a name for himself: Kilo Brown.

Phillip was arrested two more times before he finally started seeking God’s help. He was on his hands and knees, literally, begging for God’s forgiveness and guidance.

God started a fire in Phillip. He started making music again, this time, Christian music. He now goes on tour singing God’s word and working in the community.

If you are struggling, whether it’s with drug and alcohol, or something totally different, God is there for you, even when you can't see His hand. Sometimes it feels like everyone in the world has abandoned us, but we need to always know that God is here. Phillip Juarez is here on the show today talking about his journey and how God broken him down, then built him back up.

What you'll hear in this episode:

  • What Phillip is doing now
  • A little bit about Phillips past
  • The moment Phillip realized he needed God
  • How Phillip got back into music after being saved
  • Phillip Juarez’s biggest strengths and weaknesses
  • Where is God leading Phillip
  • Daily habits that allow Phillip to have a solid walk with Jesus
  • What Phillip would tell his younger self
