Mental health patients now form a large part of the patients that Paramedics see. This episode will try to talk about the challenges that these patients pose. The ability of clinicians to deliver what these patients need and what can the profession do for these patients to be managed adequately out of hospital. The episode will discuss why more patients with mental health conditions are presenting to the ambulance service as well as what training student paramedics receive during their university degree. This episode is hosted by Marc Perez Escamilla and invites Finlie Dawe.
