Abraham Ferrer is the Archives and Distribution Manager for Visual Communications, a non-profit media arts organization based in downtown Los Angeles. They host the annual Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival. Because of the pandemic, the festival was moved to September this year. Send your entries now! Volunteer, sign up for classes, or even get some seasonal work at Visual Communications if you wanna help get our voices heard. We chat about the history of Visual Communications and the state of Asian American cinema now.
