It's a Blehar family episode of Ask Me About My Type 1 this time around as I have on friend of the show and Type 1 guest from Episode 1, Maggie, and her sister Lucy. I hear Maggie's diagnosis story again but this time from Lucy's perspective and her initial thoughts after learning about her big sister's diagnosis. Lucy comes in with some high quality Q's that get Maggie and I thinking about just how much of our brains are dedicated to Type 1 management and how the rest of Life fits in. We also get into our thoughts on the annoyingly ignorant portrayal of Type 1 and Diabetes that are "Diabetes jokes" (#dobetterjimmy) and Lucy tells us how she hopes to fix it. And did I mention that the banger intro track you're about to hear was produced by Maggie and Lucy's brother Sam?
