The Atlanta Braves opened the brand new SunTrust Park with a special ceremony on April 14, 2017. Former Brave greats Warren Spahn, Eddie Mathews, Greg Maddux, Phil Niekro, Dale Murphy, Tom Glavine, John Smoltz, Chipper Jones, Bobby Cox and Hank Aaron are honored before the game and have their numbers unveiled at the new park. John Schuerholz and commissioner Rob Manfred addressed the crowd before the first pitch.
