Big news coming from Vietnam as officials seriously consider adopting crypto assets and updating governmental infrastructure into the Digital Age. Vietnam plans to follow China's Digital Yuan (e-CNY and/or e-RMB) with the CBDC Vietnamese Dong. Speaking of China, China has been testing their CBDC, the digital Yuan, by programming utility features to incentivize Chinese citizens to walk more. Also El Salvador legalizing crypto has caused tension with the United States. Ukraine and France are also thinking about rolling out with their CBDC program. Nigeria has been fighting massive inflation by relying on crypto while Iran has told their crypto miners to cool it as the summer and mining heats up their power grid.
