This week we welcome Kathryn Nordberg and Dr. Eric Larsson to the podcast to talk with us about Erik’s Ranch and Retreat, a unique living, working, recreational, and voluntourism ranch in Montana and Minnesota. Kathryn is the founder and CEO of Erik’s ranch as well as the mother of a young man on the spectrum named Erik who Erik’s ranch is named after! We are also joined by Dr. Larsson who is one of the founding board members of Erik’s Ranch. On the professional side, he is the Executive Director of Clinical Services at the Lovaas Institute Midwest – where they provide world-renowned early intensive intervention services.

Erik's Ranch was recently featured on the Netflix series “The World’s Most Exciting Vacation rentals” in an episode titled “Giveback Getaways.” Erik’s Ranch and Retreats uniquely combines Voluntourism, where they welcome people from all over the world, with the opportunity for young adults on the spectrum to live, work, socialize and enjoy recreational environments.
