Freedom - a podcast by Avondale UMC

John 8:31-36 | Rev. Dr. R. Brandon Harris | Freedom in our modern usage has a lot to do with the ability to live in response to my own vision/direction for life. We are free from things like governments and oppressors and taskmasters. Biblical freedom involved those aspects to a degree, but it also acknowledged that to be free "from" something meant that one needed to be defined in relationship to something else. Jesus and his "way" consists of the ultimate freedom that any of us can obtain.
