Galatians 3:19-29 | Rev. Dr. R. Brandon Harris | Tragically, Christianity gets caricatured as a legalistic religion of do's and don'ts (often having to do with sex!) And, while there is moral content to the gospel, the focus of Christianity is on the fulfilment of the covenant of promise made long ago with Abraham--the fulfillment in Christ! But, because of Christ, we no longer have to earn our way into his family; we are inheritors, Jew and Gentile alike, of God's promise simply by his grace. Whether we live out the moral content of the gospel will be in terms of our response to the invaluable gift given in/through Jesus.
