The 1990’s. A revolutionary decade for cinema. Films like Pulp Fiction, The Matrix, and Jurassic Park changed the Hollywood landscape. When it comes to horror films the 1990’s was a mixed bag. The 1980’s were filled with slashers and the rise of horror franchises. By the time the 90’s rolled around, the slasher killers started to become the heroes of their own films. On this episode of The Killer Countdown, host Blake Ginithan is joined by Andy Heller from Fat Dude Digs Flicks to countdown the best horror films of the 1990’s.

1990’s Horror

Blake and Andy duke it out to determine the eight best horror films of the 1990’s. The rule for The Killer Countdown are as followed. 8 picks will be made by the two contestants. Each contestant will have a “stab” that will take a film out of that spot, but not out of the game completely. The numbers 8 through 5 are drawn by the two contestants. They will then play films the believe belong at those numbers. Once we finish the number five slot, the contestants will then pick the numbers 4 through 1. The game is the luck of the draw for the contestants, with the possibility of drawing both the number two and one pick. This is the deadliest game in horror podcast history (at least we think so).
