Welcome to Episode 6 of the Back Lot 605 Podcast.  As always we went over the weekends box office.  Unfortunately, there was not much really to talk about.  No new movies came out and the standings stayed pretty much the same.

This week we discuss a couple of big trailers that dropped.  We were presented with the new Captain Marvel Trailer and the First Avengers 4 Trailer.  The Russo Brothers finally delivered us a title.

A trailer dropped for the new film Brightburn staring Elizabeth Banks.  This looks like if Superman’s origin story was a horror film.  Also about as fast as Kevin Hart was in as the Oscar host, he is now out.  This was thanks to a couple of old bad tweets.

We look into the newly released Golden Globe Nominations for film.  It seems that some of the choices seem to bend the idea of what is a musical or comedy.  It is ‘The Martian‘ all over again.

The upcoming releases are ‘Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse.’ We also get ‘The Mule,’ and ‘Mortal Engines.’ Netflix drops Roma. All of these release on December 14th.  Mary Poppins Returns releases December 19th.

Don’t forget to check out Fat Dude Digs Flicks.  Also, we will be talking Christmas Movies on Keloland Living on Wednesday, December 12th.  Also, keep using those hashtags #ashesforoscar & #twoschmucksinabasement.
