Welcome one, welcome all to The Killer Countdown. This is the horror themed countdown of the best films that the genre has to offer. On this episode, hosts Blake Ginithan and Casey Kelderman rank the top 10 horror films of the last decade. Unlike a traditional Killer Countdown, we will not be creating a collaborative list. Instead we each bring our own personal top 10 list of the best horror films of the decade. Our only rules for the episode are each film must have been released between January 1, 2010 and December 31st, 2019.



















The Best of the Decade







This decade was truly one of transition. The decade opened up with James Wan becoming the horror master we know him as today. It also saw the rise of Mike Flanagan, Robert Eggers, Jordan Peele, Jennifer Kent and Ari Aster. This group ushered in a new age of horror. Of course we will still have the unwanted remakes and sequels, BUT what this decade showed us was that director driven horror has a very large audience. That being said, what are some of your favorite horror films of the last decade?
