It’s week 3 of True Crime Month here at Back Lot 605, and we are joined on this episode by fellow Sioux Falls, SD movie podcasters Jimmy Uthe and Holden Sutter of That One Movie Podcast! The guys from TOMP join us to discuss the controversial 2001 film from director Larry Clark, Bully. That One Movie Podcast is a weekly film podcast discussing the latest films in theaters, movie news, and video games.

Based on the 1998 novel Bully: A True Story of High School Revenge by Jim Schutze, Bully tells the true crime story of the 1993 of 20 year old Bobby Kent. The film stars Brad Renfro as Marty, a high school dropout living a life of sex and drugs, who begins a relationship a lovestruck teenager named Lisa (Rachel Miner). Marty’s best friend Bobby is notorious for being a meanspirited bully to Marty, and sexual deviant to both Lisa and her friend Ali. When Lisa becomes pregnant with presumably Marty’s child, she believes in order for the two to live happily together they must murder Bobby. The group of friends are joined by other teenagers, including friends, family and a hitman, in a conspiracy to murder Bobby Kent.
