The Schmuck Club decides to be a couple guys talking comic book movies on the internet. Because we don’t have enough of those do we! The boys discuss their favorite non-Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.

Tyler Perry’s A Madea Family Funeral comes in big with $27 million in under 2,500 screens. How To Train Your Dragon 3 stays atop the mountain once again with $30 million. Alita: Battle Angel brings in over $350 million worldwide, doubling the films production budget.







The News







We kick off the news with Rambo: Last Blood getting an official release date of September 30th, 2019. Will this be the end of John Rambo? Edge of Tomorrow sequel begins development at Warner Brothers. This week saw new trailers for Hellboy, Detective Pikachu, and X-Men Dark Phoenix.



















Johnny Depp is officially stepping down from Leigh Whannell’s Invisible Man reboot. Elizabeth Moss has been cast in an undisclosed role. Finn Wolfhard and Carrie Coon are in talks to join the new Ghostbusters reboot. Rami Malek is eyed to join Bond 25 as the films villain. Lupita Nyong’o is also being looked at for the next Bond girl. Steven Spielberg and The Academy bid war against Netflix.
