Ghostbusters is a 1984 horror comedy written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, and is directed by Ivan Reitman. The film stars recently fired university parapsychologists who begin a ghost hunting business inside an old firestation (the concept is very out there when you put this in writing.) When New York is threated by an attack by an ancient god Gozer the Ghostbusters (Aykroyd, Ramis, Bill Murray, and Ernie Hudson) must step in to fight for good and stop Gozer and a giant Stay Puft marshmallow man. Ghostbusters also stars Sigourney Weaver, Rick Moranis, and Annie Potts.
