Follow young Pete and his magical dragon Elliot as the two escape from the backwoods Gogan family and seek a new life in the small town of Passamaquoddy. Initially treated as an outsider, Pete soon find's a new family in lighthouse keepers father Lampie and daughter Nora. When scheming Dr. Terminus arrives in town and catches wind of a dragon, the swindler hatches a plan to capture Pete's dragon.
