The Schmuck Club talks some new comic book movie news. Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn gives us the first look at our core characters in a brief video. Warner Bros. and DC announces that The Batman is full steam ahead with Matt Reeves at the helm but will focus on a younger Batman. This will pass the cowl from Ben Affleck to a new actor.







Guillermo del Toro provides us with a new movie poster for Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark along with a quick trailer showing us just snippets each of the stories. Blumhouse partners with Universal to bring The Invisible Man to the big screen. Saw Co-creator and Upgrade director Leigh Whannell has been set to direct. Whannell has also been rumored to be writing a reboot to the ’80’s classic Escape from New York.







The Fast and Furious Present: Hobbs and Shaw shows us their first trailer. It looks like Universal will have another hit on their hands. This will reunite Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham who will reprise their respective roles from the Fast and Furious Franchise. Funko has come out to say that they will be jumping to the big screen in the style of The Lego Movie. They will hopefully be bringing together Deadpool, Wonder Woman, The Care Bears, along with so many more.
