Lady rose are an award-winning duo comprising of married couple Joanne Mather and James Mather . Joanne reached notoriety in 2019 when her video rendition of the Andra Day song Rise Up was shared by the popular artist discovery platform Music Crowns. The video soon went viral and accumulated over 1million plays, attracting a large following over social media and fans from across the globe. This was heightened even further when Music Crowns shared another cover video, Joanne’s covers, a soothing and laid-back Ukulele version of the Paolo Nutini song These Streets. This was seen and picked up by the co-writer of the song, the highly respected musician, songwriter, and producer Jim Duguid.
