There’s something about The Matildas that has really struck a chord this year, and we'll be taking a few minutes with our own Holly Payne to unpack some of the history behind the team, the records that they’ve broken over the last few weeks and have a guess as to what the future holds. Next up, we're jumping back into YIMBY/NIMBY land after New research from Western Sydney university has shown the NIMBY approach to housing development has had direct impacts on minority groups across Sydney, especially Western Sydney. Western Sydney urban planning researcher, Dr Awais Piracha will join us to break down his latest research. Finally, Do you feel like buses in Sydney getting later and later? Well you’re not wrong. This week the Bus Industry Taskforce, which is a group the government put together to make recommendations to improve bus services across NSW, released its first report. And it was a damning one. David Babineau - Tram and Bus Division Secretary of the Rail, Tram and Bus Union will join us to unpack this new report and what solutions are being considered.
