Google have an Inactive Account Manager; LastPass and Dashlane both offer “emergency access” to your password manager passwords; Facebook let you appoint a “Legacy Contact”; Twitter/LinkedIn/Instagram allow “memorialising” an account. What about your phone login? Or your desktop machine? Is only stuff in the cloud important? How much prep do you and should you have to do before death to account for this? And… is anyone doing that? It seems not. Should we be?
