The red bloc has been in government since 2019 and the blue bloc continues to fluctuate with Venstre beginning to slip back behind the Conservatives. What was responsible for the Social Democrats’ success in 2019 and why did they adopt a harsher position on immigration? Why have Venstre’s fortunes changed in recent years?
