A very warm welcome to Thruxton for what is a particularly special weekend for our much-loved circuit – our 50th Anniversary Celebration.

The first motor sport event to be held at Thruxton in its current guise took place in 1968 and now – a full half-century on – a whole host of single-seaters, sports cars and saloons from the last five decades are back at Britain’s fastest circuit for a spirited sprint down memory lane.

\n\n

In addition to what is a jam-packed programme of races, we have for you a raft of eye-catching demo runs and static displays, car club reunions, skid pan passenger rides, a funfair, live music, overnight

\n\n

Personally, I can’t think of a better way to mark our half-century, so here’s to the next 50 years – and a fabulous weekend. Enjoy!
