Uit de kunst. is een podcast die de vele facetten van de hedendaagse kunstwereld belicht. Voor velen is deze wereld onbekend en geheimzinnig terrein. Uit de kunst. doet een poging om de kunstwereld te demystificeren. Onderwerpen die aan bod gaan komen zijn onder andere een kijkje in het maakproces van kunstenaars, hoe kunst maatschappelijk kan bijdragen, de beweegredenen en het verzamelbeleid van een bedrijfscollectie, de veranderende positie van de galerie in de kunstwereld en de toekomst ervan en het collectiebeleid van musea. We nodigen gasten die elk op hun eigen wijze iets bijdragen aan de kunstwereld. In deze eerste try-out aflevering is multidisciplinair kunstenaar Lawrence James Bailey aan het woord. Uit de kunst. is a podcast that highlights the many facets of the contemporary art world. For many this world is unknown and mysterious territory. Uit de kunst. makes an effort to demystify the art world. Subjects that will be discussed include a glimpse into the creative process of artists, how art can contribute to society, the motives and collection policy of a corporate collection, the changing position of the gallery in the art world and its future and the collection policy of museums. We invite guests who each contribute in their own way to the art world. This first try-out episode features multidisciplinary artist Lawrence James Bailey.
