NC State is on the road against a decent UConn team, but just how close will the Wolfpack let this game end up?

Louisville heads to Atlanta to face Georgia Tech at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, as the Jeff Brohm and Brent Key eras officially begin at their respective alma maters. With the hype around the Cardinals coming into the season, how is it that the most well-defined thing in this game is actually something with the Yellow Jackets?

North Carolina looks to defend the ACC's honor against the conference-defector South Carolina Gamecocks. The Tar Heels are favored -- does that mean they're fit to control this game and come away victorious?

Virginia heads to Nashville (post-recording note: might be Knoxville due to LP Stadium structural shenanigans? we'll follow up on this), where they'll meet a Tennessee team that they'll match up with very, very poorly.

Florida State takes on LSU in Orlando in a rematch after the Seminoles beat the Tigers in New Orleans last year. All eyes are on FSU's matchup with some different Tigers later in September, but this game might actually be their toughest test of the year.

Speaking of, Clemson starts their campaign in Durham on Monday night, taking on a Duke team riding high off of a 9-4 finish last year. The spread here is less than 2 touchdowns -- are the Blue Devils actually going to be able to keep this that close?
