The kids approached the cardboard box slowly. Although they were ready for another adventure, they could hear the little kitty purring loudly. They peeked inside the box. There was the kitten, sleeping on its back, its fuzzy tummy exposed. The cardboard box could see that the kids were ready to play and wondered what they would do. The little girl reached in and gently rubbed the kitty’s chin.
The little kitty stretched and flipped over. With one more stretch, she hopped out of the box. The cardboard box enjoyed the kitty’s company, now he was ready for another adventure. Chance felt curious, wondering where the kids’ powerful imaginations would take him today. They hopped into the sturdy box.
“Ready for the another adventure in the magnificent cardboard box?” the girl asked her brother.
“Ready!” He said. “Where are we going this time?”
“I don’t really know.” The little girl said. “If you buckle into the spaceship, we can get going and we’ll find out.”
