Forest Explorer Show Excerpt:

Rogelio waited for Brianna and Helen to arrive under the big oak tree.  They had been enjoying writing their play together. The story about the dragon was working very well, and the music was sounding great! However, all three were having difficulty forgetting the dragon like animal they had seen peeking out of the forest.  Today they were going to explore the edge of the forest. That was as far as their parents thought it was safe to go.



 



The forest looked very calm and inviting. Maybe they would find the dragon.  Then they really would have something to write about.



 



Whether they found a dragon or not, Rogelio was looking forward to their meeting at the park today.  He looked back at the playground and noticed Brianna and Helen walking towards him and waving.



 



“Are you ready to explore the forest?” Helen asked.



 



“Do you think we’ll really find a dragon?” Brianna asked.



 



“We’ll just have to look and see.” Rogelio said, smiling.  “Any ideas on where we should start?”
