Trucks and Trees Show Excerpt:

The sun slowly climbed above the enchanted forest, gently waking all the animals. The dragon smiled as sunlight warmed its belly.  It was time to get up!  The dragon had enjoyed meeting Ellie the Excavator and Danny the Dump Truck and thought maybe it would be nice to visit them again. Having decided on a morning activity, the dragon stretched and stepped outside the cave.

The dragon wandered through the cool woods and admired all the colors on the trees.  The once bright green trees were now filled with warm red, cheerful orange, sunny yellow and cozy brown leaves.  It was so peaceful in the forest.  The dragon relaxed and listened to the birds singing, the brook trickling,  and then… there was a new noise in the forest!

The dragon heard something rumbling.  It sounded a lot like the cars the people drove.  Curious, the dragon decided to investigate. The construction crew would have to wait for another day.   The dragon followed the sound of the rumbles.  They got louder and louder until… the dragon could see what was making the sound.  There were two trucks carefully making their way through the forest.  The dragon watched to see whether the trucks were friendly.
