In this episode of Bears OnTap Duke Coughlin, Brandon Suarez, and Lucas Perfetti are back to discuss the Matt Nagy/Ryan Pace press conference. Unfortunately, Covid-19 has been and will be an ongoing issue and it seems as the Bears are doing everything possible to make Halas Hall a safe work environment. Eddie Goldman has opted out for the season. That's a huge blow for the Bears. Will they make a move or is the solution already on the roster? Obviously, the most pressing issue was the quarterback competition. Matt Nagy wants to be completely transparent with the players and coaches so it can be an even competition. If someone isn't playing well he is going to let them know and both players will know where they stand, so when a starter is named it won't be a surprise to the team.
