107. Television: Marquee Moon (1977) - a podcast by Beck Did It Better

Quality is our motto this week when we become the best podcast about Television and James Bond's upstairs neighbor, the 107th greatest album of all time, Marquee Moon.

 

But before we get to the album, we're talking about the songs that were hits on our 21st birthday and the discussion gets quite hot. Then we discuss custom cowboy hats, vanity license plates, and professional cornhole players. Then at (1:00:00) we break out our ass-less chaps and share our thoughts on Television and their debut studio album, Marquee Moon. We discuss the Mixolydian mode (which Aaron mocks), french poetry (which Matt confuses with a Stallone franchise), and the best bands to come out of the CBGB club in New York City (which Russ had never heard of).
