This ends up being an encouraging little episode where we highlight the deity of the prophecy of Christ, the importance of his bloodline, and the absolute necessity that he was holy in all his ways. King Joash was protected after being anointed king of Israel at 7 years old for this very purpose. It never fails to touch me when I recall how I am loved by our savior and how his plan was all for us.
