In this episode the boys discuss the mission of Bedtime Bible Boys - helping fathers, mothers, and mentors connect with their children in a way that fosters a growing relationship with our Father. Our goal is one heart. That if even one heart is moved into greater depths in their relationship with the Father then we will have served our purpose. We discuss the importance of an earthly father/mentor tending to the gift given him by his heavenly father: the great calling to help our children and loved ones develop a strong sense of identity in Jesus Christ. And we finish chapter 13 of 2 Samuel where we see the fruit of a family of children, born of multiple wives, left to their own devices as David failed to grow them in their identity in the love of Christ and affirm them daily with his love.
