The current market slump for boxed beef and cash cattle could be a seasonal reduction but Dr. Glynn Tonsor, K-State Extension livestock market economist, said it could be a more disturbing sign. He"s just not sure right now. Cut out (values) pulled back hard and there was a slight pull back on cash cattle, Tonsor said.
