Life coach and activist, Zarion Newbill, joins me to discuss: why she's a privileged Black trans woman; being bullied; what prevented her from suicide; how she paid for her transition; how the church led her to self-harm; and her organization, Navigating Omitted Minds Overtime.

BIO:

Zarion Newbill born April 22, 1989 in Hawkinsville, Georgia and raised in Macon, Ga is a black transwoman. Zarion has a Associates Degree in Marketing Management, Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Zarion is a Life Coach and Activist for Black Transwomen. Zarion started the NOMO (Navigating Omitted Minds Overtime) Organization in 2016 when she started her own transition after seeing how blessed she was to have some of the luxuries of life that some of her trans sisters weren't accessible too, which were education and support. These are two of the main focuses of the NOMO Organization. Zarion's personal mission statement is "To be transgender is to be transparent and to fight with love being the focal point to unlocking understanding of who I am."
