What is a 'close encounter of the 3^rd kind”? How do we know what UFOs really are? How can we know the true intentions of those behind them? Paul & Ben welcome British researcher Tony Eccles of the British UFO Research Assn. (BUFORA) and an accredited investigator since 1993. His primary research interest is the “Close Encounter of the Third” and “Fourth Kind.” As an ethnographer (ethnography is essentially the study of culture and what’s behind it), Tony’s work explores the role of close encounter witnesses in a modern world and the deeply rooted need in Western society for a connection with a higher intelligence. Currently, Tony is curator of ethnography at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter, Devon.
