YOU ARE NOT ALONE…
Today’s episode is being brought to you by our magnanimous sponsor; Stump Town Kilts.  I partnered up with StumpTown Kilts because I believe in their product, I wear their product, and I stand behind the craftsmanship of their product and the integrity of their company.  If I didn’t, they would not be a sponsor for Being A Better Man.Recently we had a contest.  Stump Town kilts donated a kilt to be given away to the winner.  And the winner, was Teri Roe, a female listener of the program.  I just found out that she went with the camouflage option.  They come in a variety of colors, and i’m telling you the style and craftsmanship of these kilts cannot be beat.
Now don’t feel bad because you didn’t get in on the contest.  You can still get your very own StumpTown kilt at a substantial discount by going to their website;  http://stumptownkilts.com (stumptownkilts.com)  and when you are checking out enter the code;  betterman, all lower case, all one word, and you will receive 10% off your entire purchase.  Don’t wait, do it today because premium kilt weather is just around the corner my friends._______________________________

Here we are again, its Friday and the weekend is upon us.  I trust that you have allbeen having success, being a better man each day.  I trust you have been diligent finding that opportunity in your life each day to be a better man than you were the day before.  I applaud your efforts!  You really should give yourself a pat on the back because its a pretty big deal.
However, if you are having a hard time, if you are struggling with finding ways to be a better man, I want to invite you to contact me.  Just write me a letter and let me know what you are struggling with.It can be very tough at times, for all of us.  Because we all have developed habits over the course of our lives that are not the best, lets face it.  A bad habit could be the kind of people you hang out with, the places you go, how you spend your free time, what your diet looks like, or any number of things.  It is these habits that are standing in the way of your individual improvement as a man.
To break that cycle requires a great deal of personal will, strength of character, and tremendous focus.  You know I always say that the things we focus on expand right?  Well the focus required to replace a bad habit with a good one is off the charts.  Its the kind of focus that common men don’t have the strength for, it’s hard, and it can be uncomfortable.  It’s a good thing for us that we are not common men…we my friends, you and I, are better men. But, even the best of men will slip at times, or go through a tough patch.  We are human beings and thats just part of life.  Its at times like these that it really helps to have a mentor.  Someone to hold you accountable, someone that will be straight with you when you need it.  A person you can rely on to help you alter your perspective when you need to.
I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.  I know everybody has friends, but you may not have friends that are concerned with being a better man every day.  What if you did?  What if you had a friend that was in the same boat as you, dedicated to perpetual improvement in every area of their life?  Your conversations with this person might be more productive than 20 conversations with people that don’t share this mentality. So I’m having this idea of starting a program that will hook you up with another guy.  Kind of a double mentorship.  This podcast has been downloaded over 220,000 times, so there are plenty of guys out there listening that have the same objective as you.  What if you could team up with a guy and maybe he’s in a whole other country, but it doesn’t matter…once a week or so you call each other or email back and forth and just talk about your lives, whats hard, whats easy, brag about your victories a little too, with...
