As the former country of Yugoslavia broke up, people who lived side by side in the same city and country, turned their guns on each other. Avdo Gacevic, is just one man who was a boy at that time. Here is his story of how he survived and how the war impacted his life. Some of the greatest war crimes ever occurred under the watch of the UN and the whole world did nothing until up to 500,000 died.
