BCB-190418 - a podcast by Best Coast Boys

In the latest episode of the “Best Coast Boys” podcast, hosts Landon McCool and John Owning will welcome guest host Marcus Mosher to conduct the Dallas Cowboys draft room simulation, where the guys will go through a full Cowboys mock draft while role playing as top coaches and executives. 

The “Best Coast Boys” podcast is a Cowboys-centric podcast that will delve into many other topics. Whether it is the NFL, Cowboys, movies, music, comics, food or Mixed Martial Arts, nothing is off limits on the “Best Coast Boys” podcast. 

After the pleasantries, the guys dive into their simulation of the Cowboys’ draft room. Landon is playing the role of Jerry and Stephen Jones while Marcus handles the Will McClay role and John acts as the voice for the coaching staff. 

In the second round, the guys grapple with which position provides them the most immediate return on their investment. They debate the merits of several players across a couple of positions. In the third round, the guys narrow their focus as they are trying to still grab a contributor in the late third round. In the fourth round, the guys decide to shift their attention to offense. In the fifth round, the guys have a lively debate over drafting a tight end over a developmental offensive tackle. In the seventh round, the guys are looking for developmental traits while trying to grab play who they think will have robust interest in underrated free agency.
