John details why he’s a little surprised that Elliott chose not to report. He also mentions how he doesn’t think Elliott can gain much from the holdout. Landon discussed the ramification of Elliott missing and why fans shouldn’t be that worried. 

After that, the guys move onto to Amari Cooper’s impending contract talks. The guys thought it was interesting that the ball regarding the new contract seemed to be in Cooper’s court rather than the teams. Landon states why Cooper is waiting for other big money receivers to get their contract extensions first. 

To finish up the show, the guys talk about Randy Gregory and his potential filing to get reinstated. The guys discuss the timing of the situation and the kind of impact Gregory can have on the defense.
