167. David Newman | Rx Smart Gear - a podcast by Jason Ackerman

On today's episode, Ackerman chats with David Newman, the owner of Rx Smart Gear. Back in 2009, David was looking to improve his double unders, he used what he could find on the market and combined it to make his jump rope. After members of his gym started to want them as well, a friend pushed David to put them on Facebook. They started selling around the world. They discuss how David got started, where the idea came from all and the ways to coach DUs to your athletes but also some tips for yourself.  It's a real grassroots company that started with nothing is now a go-to in Crossfit for Jump Ropes. As a company, they really highlight the importance of doing that one product really well so that there's not another choice for the customer.
