Doctor stabbed on doorstep tells attacker 'I feel bad for you' - a podcast by BBC Radio 4

Chanz Maximen has been sentenced to a minimum of 12 years imprisonment after being found guilty of dragging doctor Adam Towler out of his house and stabbing him nine times.

However in his victim impact statement which he read out in court – and which was addressed to his attacker, who was 17 at the time of the incident – Dr Towler says he wishes him well and feels bad that he is in prison.

Today's Nick Robinson spoke to to Dr Towler about that night.
