The city of Mariupol has been decimated, as it lies in ruins after weeks of heavy bombing and missiles destroying and damaging almost every building in the strategically vital port city in southern Ukraine. Today’s Nick Robinson spoke with the head of Mariupol State University Mykola Trofymenko who escaped with his family and is now living in Lviv. We hear from another Ukrainian, Anastasia Hrechkina, who also fled Mariupol and hitchhiked her way to safety.
