Russian threat ‘far from over’ - a podcast by BBC Radio 4

In an address to the American people last night, President Biden said that a Russian attack on Ukraine is "still very much a possibility" and the human cost would be "immense". He concluded “If we do not stand for freedom where it is at risk today, we’ll surely pay a steeper price tomorrow”. This is despite Russia saying it’s pulling back some of its troops from the Ukrainian border. Today’s Justin Webb speaks to Sir John Sawers, the former head of MI6. After that, Martha Kearney spoke to the BBC’s Special Correspondent Fergal Keane and Defence Secretary Ben Wallace ahead of NATO talks in Brussels.
