In this podcast Katie Marino (@krmarino1) speaks to Jacky about the difference in the amount of research done on exercise in women compared to exercise in men, and why we need to correct this imbalance. The research community needs to strengthen and promote research on women in sport and exercise, with the goal of optimising women’s athletic success and increase their participation rates.The Women in Sport and Exercise Academic Network (WISEAN) is mentioned in the podcast.
