On this special edition of the Black & Gold Banneret podcast, Eric Lopez shares his uncut interview with UCF’s new Director of Tennis, John Roddick.

Roddick took over the UCF Tennis program this past May after coming over from Oklahoma, where he spent seven seasons, culminating in three consecutive runner-up finished in the NCAA Men’s Tennis Tournament. He previously coached his brother, Andy, who has been one of the greatest American tennis players of the last 25 years.

John Roddick was an excellent collegiate player in his own right at the University of Georgia, and previously coached at his alma mater, as well as at Florida State. He will oversee both of UCF’s tennis programs, and will serve as the head coach of the men’s team.
