- SEC Charges Coinbase for Operating as an Unregistered Securities Exchange,
- Broker, and Clearing Agency Coinbase also charged for the unregistered offer and sale of securities in connection with its staking-as-a-service program.

💡 Because of this news, Coinbase stock has plunged 20%

🔥 But there’s more A task force comprising 10 state security regulators from Alabama, California, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, South Carolina, Vermont, Washington and Wisconsin issued a Show Cause Order against Coinbase. Official order here https://lnkd.in/d9Za95ai

They partnered with Datachain, a blockchain interoperability company, and Toki, a cross-chain bridge, to allow the interoperation of these licensed stablecoins along several blockchains using its Progmat Coin protocol.
