On December 12, 2021 Lauren Smith-Fields was discovered deceased by her date from the previous night Matthew LaFountain, 37 inside her Plymouth Street apartment in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Let me start this case off by saying that no criminal investigation has been opened. In fact, the last person to see Lauren Smith Fields alive was not even questioned.
